OK. Let's then ask this:
Would you take the Spam can full of bees which would fully populate a baby nuc and expect them to do as well in a standard super?
Maybe you would/could. Around here, they would be dead within weeks, 10 months of the year, while in baby nucs, they could conceivably swarm.
