Can anyone suggest how best to move these cells?
If you go to an auto supply store, especially ahead of the time you need them, the stores generally will have on hand some styrofoam holders for spark plugs. These make excellant queen cell holders. They keep the cell upright; will provide a bit of protection, not much, against temperature changes; and will temporarily keep queens from emerging if they start the process while in the container while in route to be placed in mating nucs or as replacements in regular colonies.
