Hi All,
You may have noticed that I'm catching up after returning from New Zealand!
On the flight to NZ I put together an Excel spreadsheet that graphs out
seasonal bee population, mite pop growth, and mite infestation rate of adult
bees. It is very user friendly, and appears to do a surprisingly accurate
job of predicting mite levels in my own operation, and the effects of
splitting and treatments.
I hope to make the sheet available to all soon, and would appreciate if some
others would try it out first. I'm looking for a few who have good seasonal
mite level data on hand, and are familiar with Excel. Please email me
directly.
