- Goldenrod is still blooming (and they are bringing in lots of bright yellow pollen), and I have looked for, but not seen, Japanese Knotweed. Seems odd that it would shut off like that.
We have a lot of Knotweed in my area. It is being mixed about 50/50 with golderod in the comb. Very funny to look at, every other cells is purple, every other is yellowish. Sort of like a checkerboard. These plants generally do much better in hot weather with good soil moisture and high humidity. I wasn't surprised when it came to a screeching halt, but I expect it to pick back up again as temperatures rise again. It supposed to go back up into the upper 80s F by Tuesday.
