L.S.,
I can use a terrain close by to put beehives on. According to the owners there is all kinds of soil contamination, probably solvents as it was a yacht shipyard. The flora looks fine. There is a lot of blackberry there (Rubus).
Does any one of you know of a demonstrated case of very local contamination affecting nectar and bees? The rest of the area is fine, lush banks of a canal with nature/gardens/houses.
Thanks,
Lennard
