Hi Peter and all
During the late 70's our family lived in northwestern Nigeria. There
were termite mounds there as well, but not grass covered and many
were 6-8 feet high. We have photos of our son, then 10, beside a
termite mound easily twice his height. Possibly a different species
than in Namibia
