Hi Juanse and All

Nice animated GIF, thanks.
Just a little high-flying dust, nothing to inconvenience anyone except the air travellers. It must have been overhead as I drove a daughter into Perth tonight towards the setting sun and everything was normal. Previous Icelandic eruptions have darkened skies over Europe, so there is the potential for major disruption one day.
And the bees? Some keepers have had horrendous overwinter losses in this difficult (cold and snowy) winter but others have near normal losses. Our spring is a few weeks late, but it is here now and the bees are busy gathering pollen and nectar from willow (Salix), blackthorn (prunus), gorse (Ulex) and just today I saw my first dandelions of the year, a real stimulus for the spring build-up.
best wishes
Gavin
