Andy, "desert" is relative.  If there is a small, nutritious pollen flow
coming in, then FeedBee or another of the top-tier pollen supplements might
be enough.  You will likely need to do some trial and error, and maybe test
a few brands under your specific conditions.

I have not personally tested FeedBee as a stimulus for drone
production--anyone else?
