sorry , I forgot to mention something obvious. When the bees and the v.queen
are sleep. we free the v.queen ontop the frames or slip it between the frames.
Take the cage out, and done.
We have had this season over 90% mating success with well over 2000 nucs
done already.
No side effects seen. I tend to believe however that this "sleeping" shorten
the mating time, but haven't really controled this observation.
