I don't follow this logic at all. If a colony has the traits to groom 99%
of mites in a few minutes, then mite drift would not be a problem.
Ditto if mites can't reproduce--even with major drift, still not much of a
problem.
The statement also doesn't take into account that once all stocks are
resistant, that there simply wouldn't be that much of a reservoir of varroa
out there to be robbed from.
