That was my impression, since fresh pollen in cells near brood disappears 
quickly -- often overnight -- and it has been my understanding that it takes 
time to produce bee bread.

I was hoping for more detail, though, like how quickly the pollen turns into 
bee bread.

And, do they always put it into a cell before eating it.  I figured some 
with observation hives and too much time on their hands might know.

Could you explain in more detail?  I don't get it.
