Apilife Var is not a Gel, it looks like a candy bar. You put pieces of it on the top bars. This is the product I am interested in getting feedback on. I tried it on three hives. One, it was too late and the hive crashed. Two, a bear destroyed. The third one seems fine, but it didn't really have many varroa to begin with. The first two were crawling with them. 

Bob wrote that he used it for four years, and then stopped. But he is describing Apiguard, not Apilife Var.

What are you using now, Bob, that works better?
