Sanford states; "its native habitat in the Allegany and Appalachian mountains".
I could be wrong, and probably am, but for some reason I though the "native habitat", botanically speaking, of Black Locust, Robinia pseudacacia, was confined to the Ozarks.
Could be wrong, and probably am II, but why did I think the Allegany is just another of the Appalachian mountains?
