The fact that it is such a specific honey suggests that it is (if true at
all) likely to be an effect of Manuka plant chemicals transmitted through
the honey, rather than an intrinsic property attributable to the *bees*.
There are enough bizarre health-food claims about pollen and/or honey (that
imply that all pollens and all honeys are equivalent), I don't think we
need another. Since I do have ulcers, I'd be first on the bandwagon if
*any* honey could help...
