I went out and worked the hives again today.  Seems like an early year, but this is the second patty feeding, with some having inhaled as much as four pounds in eleven days.  I have never recommended feeding so early, but once started, feeding cannot stop.  At around a pound a hive a week, this early in the year, this is amazing.  Some hives are eating two pounds a week

The daily weight loss according to the scale is not as expected, as it has been holding more or less steady all winter and even now.
