It was my understanding (correct me if i am wrong) that indaclopramide in termites lowers their immune system till they can not fight off infections and that is how it kills them. If that is the case lowering the amount of infectious agents out there only prolongs how long it will take to kill them it will never prevent it entirely. the only way to bring thier immune system back up and make the infections not an issue would be to get rid of the toxin that is lowering their immune system right. would not the same thing apply to bee's
