Perhaps so. The bees clustered on the aged, drawn comb and were very
sparse on the newly drawn comb. I'm not overly concerned with chilled
brood at this time of year, although perhaps I should be. There were
few bees in the area of the deep hive hive body that contained the
block of newly drawn comb. It was quite pronounced and surprised me
greatly.
I'm hoping Bob and Allen will offer comment.
