Hello Medhat & All,

I thought the large kill was in late summer but could be wrong.
Yes this is the kill I was referring to. All three publications said the
kill was KBV. I wondered the method you used to determine KBV without a
doubt killed those hives?
I assume all other possible contributing factors were under control such as
varroa & nosema?
Were the shivering bees in the colony on the floor or many outside on the
ground?
Could the bees hold on to the frames?
Where the bees shivering or crawling together like a ball of earth worms on
the floor of the hive?
Have you ever seen a similar problem which you felt was caused by KBV?
Thanks in advance!
bob
Ps. I am trying to learn here and not pick at your methods.
