I'd like to know how you do it.
I read an old book from the public library and it showed a cement-based (water putty) mold. It was originally poured around a sheet of unwired foundation and hinged on one side..
But as I tried to melt wax and pour it in the mold, the resulting wax foundation would stick to the mold in some spots, stick some to the top, some on the bottom, rip in other places. Exasperating and frustrating. And I could only do one sheet at a time.
I gave up and went with strips of wax under the wedge bar and let the bees draw it out them selves.
But more power to you! I'm glad someone got something like this to work. All the best,
Grant
