In some areas of Chem-lawn USA, the only things out there for the
bees are invasives. Ask Massachusetts beekeepers. Where would you be
without Buckthorn, Honeysuckle, and Loosestrife?
Hi Mike Palmer,
What kind of honeysuckle are you talking about with a bloom short enough for
a bee to reach to the nectar? In Alabama, I have not seen any honeysuckle
with short blooms. Ours are almost an inch long. The nectar is very sweet
when you pull a bloom and suck it out.
