Presumably $5 per pound is your total return for honey? If so, you must deduct
all the costs (mainly labour, or maybe packing and packaging, marketing, etc, if
you do pack your own) associated with making, packing, selling, etc, that honey
that you haven't had to incur. Your actual loss is the PROFIT from that pound,
not the whole income.
Not nearly so scary, huh?
