That is the term which is used.

When we were pollinating specialized canola varieties, there was great 
concern that pollen from other nearby canola would contaminate the purity of 
the seed being produced.

In the case of rice crops, particularly for export, many importing countries 
embargo GMO crops and have a very low (zero?) tolerance.   Thus 
'contamination', even at low levels could cause rejection of entire 
shipments and blacklisting of the source producer, state, or even country.

contamination: noun - pollution, dirtying, infection, corruption, poisoning, 
decay, taint, filth, impurity, contagion, adulteration, foulness, defilement
