I find it ironic to hear how other livestock operators are able to take care of their problems organically, when it is so common to see two herds on most organic ranches: those that are certified and those not certified while they wait for the treatment time to pass, (usually antibiotics for disease control).
This does bring up a great question though -- does a beehive that has a complete population change over a one year period need to be treated differently than other livestock that enjoy much longer lifespans for certification time limits? I would suggest that it should be much different.
