David, yet unpublished, but widely presented research by Dr Frank Eischen
found that for overwintering in Calif prior to almonds, that at spore counts
of below around 3M, that feeding pollen supp was of more benefit than
fumagillin, and that the addition of fumagillin appeared to actually set the
colonies back a bit. At higher spore counts, fumagillin was of benefit.
