No. In a strong flow more bees are recruited to foraging, leaving a smaller
workforce to tend to the larvae. The larvae then get less food and the
symptoms of EFB begin to show. After a flow, the larvae are better fed and
more survive without EFB symptoms.
At least - that is what I was taught...
