Can cold be transmitted?
Ok, I was careless with my terminology. I believe I should have said,
honey conducts cold, is a poor insulator.
Our Infra-red imaging indicates that honey acts like a sink for heat or
cold, depending on time of year.
Its appears to be as 'hot' as the bee colony core in the summer, gets icy
cold in winter.
Open/empty cells, with a 'wall' composed of the wax foundation sheet on one
side, bee bodies pressed up against the other, has the characteristics of
a dead air space insulator.
