No, no, we were talking about whether immunity can be conferred by *non-genetic* means
in invertebrates. Obviously, mammals transfer antibodies etc. to the developing fetus via
the placenta, but the question is: do social insects have similar mechanisms? Like in the
jelly or general food transmission routes?
