Just received the may issue of bee culture. during the mid 1970's
I inspected bees for NYS prior to going commercial. I was trained
by a great inspector from macedon,ny named ben gabbert. one of his
favorite sayings was: for an intelligence test they should give someone a hive
of bees and see what they do with it.when I saw this months cover I
remembered Ben and had to laugh for him.
