yes, I agree but there is still hope. Look what happened to the US Great
Lakes. They were a cesspool of chemicals but when the US government
finally woke up and mandated the reduction in pollutants going into the lakes the
lakes cleaned up. Specifically, the pollutants like DDT were captured in
the layer of silt in the bottom of the lakes. Nature is wise and
eventually forgiving
