A while ago I asked for help to understand PAs cause there were efforts by
german labs to force the testing of honey for this natural alkaloids in
honey.

A couple of days ago there was an incident with a senecio plant in a salad
sold in a supermarket in
germany<http://www.minutouno.com/1/hoy/article/114507-Compra-una-ensalada-que-ten%C3%ADa-hierbas-venenosas-en-vez-de.../>

The rumor indicates that the german beekeepers will "confess" the existence
of this substance in thier honey and ask their authority to set and MRL of
200 ppb. Will this german desition force the rest of europe?.

This will be talk at Apimondia in september. There was a similar proposal
from Australia on a previous Apimondia.

What do you think?

What will be the impact on the honey market? How much we will have to spend
on lab testing? Which countries will be more affected?
