Actually, I am reducing the  to 2 or 3 boxes on nice days because I wan to 
drizzle oxalic and that will be easier with fewer boxes.  Also, I wrap, and 
I'll wrap only the top two.

As fot the patties.  In spring, they must be within a few inches of the 
brood to be consumed reliably.

> Is the same procedure in FALL?

I stop feeding patties before the first frost.
