Ok Allen, I'm around today, checking e-mail when taking a break from trying
to finish painting my house - a multi-year project.
CCD tests: We can offer any type of test desired from pesticides to rapid
viral screening to PCR for Nosemas to complete proteomics that reveals any
and all pathogens in a sample.
We operate on a cost recovery model - didn't get any of the big CCD
research money - told by reviewers that we lacked experience :).
So, we can't offer free services - which is what we wanted to do - for a
Center for Disease Control for bees. But, we can offer analysis capability.
As per testing for CCD itself - we've got some leads, may have an answer to
that one soon.
1) Our sonic bee health scanner - and no, its not buck Rogers or a joke-
seems to pick it up, and
2) We are conducting testing now with a colleague, see if we may have an
answer to cause of CCD.
Jerry
