>I am wondering if the pellets you would buy for your woodstove contain
any harmful chemicals/materials?

The pellets I use are made by Ozark Hardwoods in Purdy, Missouri. The label
says they are 100% Oak and made from pressed Oak sawdust. There was no phone
number on the bag or I would have called and asked for you Sarah. I sell
honey in the store which sells the pellet wood and the pellet stoves. I will
have the delivery girl ask about the pellets next trip.

flammable fluid infused into the wood to help them light...?

I don't think so ( at least with these) as the pellets are hard to light.
When I am in a hurry I use my Oxygen/acetylene torch to light the pellets as
propane torch is slow.
