Depends upon temperature, humidity, and pests.
Mold will grow quickly on damp pollen.
Wax moth larvae will grow quickly on it in high temp.
Ants, earwigs, and beetles will also enter the traps.
I collect every day, or every other day in dry weather (low humidity).

I am greatly impressed by the Sundance trap sold by Lloyd Spear (I have only
tried the bottom trap).  It gives you the cleanest pollen of any trap I've
tested, and therefore requires the least hand cleaning.  The labor of
cleaning is the biggest issue in pollen for sale.
