This works! I began doing this I suppose intuitively a year or so ago.
Very few bees get crushed. Sometimes I forget like when I'm tired. Then
bam! the box goes directly on and there's a bit more smashed bees than
desired. The calm sliding method is a good thing for both beekeepers and
the bees.
