Yup.  You are right, but who wants to move the bees.  That is the whole problem.

I figured that by setting up a lawn sprinkler, that the bees would have a
lot of water to choose from, and maybe not select the water that drowns
them.  After all, you would think that the source that drowns the bees would
lose out over time to the source that merely provides them with water.
