I received/acquired some old beekeeping equipment.  I had to buy the whole shed, and among such lovely items were some old cans of dried-up paint, two gallons of "Refined Creosote Oil" (75% with 25% petroleum distillates) and one gallon of "BloxRot-O" (pentachlorophenol at 4.25%) wood preservative.

Is this stuff any good for things like bottom boards?  I am presuming there is a reason I can't walk into my local Lowe's and find these products anymore.

Thanks,

Grant
