Brother Adams was taken aback at the looseness with which beekeepers treated
queen introduction

In addition he wrote that the primary criteria for queen acceptance is her
calmness which is a function of her age(with some qualifications about
shipping)

I have sold several hundred queens to a few dozen people and have found this
verified (I usually allow them a little more than capped brood).
It may be hard to believe but I have had an acceptance rate of above
95%...my best estimate is 98%.
