How many hours do you have now and how many hours did you have in the
past?
I am in the Columbia, SC area and while I am not sure exactly the number of
hours below 48 degree F it is enough to produce a lot of peaches. Yes, I
suspect global weather changes may affect us I hope we will be OK. I grew
up in the Winston-Salem, NC area back in the 1960's when Tulip Poplar was
the main flow. Speaking with the beekeepers back "home" the Tulip Poplar is
not producing like has been discussed here. It is also not producing in
the Columbia, SC area in discussions with the old time beekeepers from this
area.
We will see what develops with the weather changes.
