It appears that the General Assembly passed this bill unanimously. It
was then sent to the Senate, where it was sent to committee last
February. It's still in committee. The bill died in committee once and
looks like it may do so again.

Personally, I favor Country of Origin labeling for honey, as well as
other products. A friend in the cattle industry has been working hard to
make this happen for nearly a decade. In the end, Country of Origin
labeling can only help U.S. honey producers.
