Have built a wooden frame with two channels, side by side the width of a
frame. Can slide 3 to 5 frames in each channel, both sides are open. Blast
all residue off with pressure washer, takes but a few minutes. All frames
get recoated with wax, helps tremendously.

Subject: [BEE-L] Refurbishing plastic frames.
I have a number of one-piece plastic Pierco frames with old comb I am going
to refurbish for this coming season. Was interested in hearing how other
folks do it? My thinking is I will scrape the drawn cells off and give the
frames back to the bees. There will be some comb debris attached the
plastic midrib.
