the following:
What has caused the loss of so many colonies apparently occurring in a
relatively short time period?
Stop looking for a novel agent if the evidence points in that direction.
what or which "old", presumably previously recognised agent(s)
has/have removed honey bee populations?
New or old - We still have not got the answer to the cause of the losses.
