I'm still waiting for any useful help
ie how to make life unpleasent for Virii
without killing the bees
ie how to steralize a dead out without burning
As, according to Bailey and Ball, a virus is just a small piece of genetic
material in a protein shell I wonder how long they can survive in the absence
of a living host. Dealing with a dead-out means you don't have to worry about
killing the bees and so replacement of the wax and exposure of the frames
and woodwork to acetic acid fumes, or to caustic soda solution (probably it
wouldn't be a good idea to use both at the same time) .should be effective.
