Not really sure what the lesson is since scabrood does disappear with 
the season and re-queening. It could have been the specific conditions 
in the country at the time and little to do with the survivors. This is 
one of those things, not unlike CCD, where you can come to incorrect 
conclusions based on assumed cause and effect.
