I notice that there is no data on the PH of the solution once the acetic
acid was added. As honey is acid in the first place, what effect on PH
does
the adding of the acetic acid have?
Answer: True honey PH range is 3.2 -4.5. It does not hurt bees. There is
no study about acetic acid and acidification of sugar syrup, but there is
a study on oxalic acid and sugar syrup hydrolyzes. Please check the
following article on oxalic acid and sugar syrup

Same idea when beekeepers used to feed bees inverted sugar. It has to be
enzymatic inverted sugar. Acid hydrolyzed sugar can be toxic to bees.
Just, I sent my early note for precautions.
