Is there a relationship between breeding for larger queens
and worker bee size?

Reply:
Yes actually there is, and this relationship has been used
and talked about in old ABC and XYZ Bee Culture old books
for doing and how to's. Then once rationalized how to do
it, it was done and carried out throughout Europe and the
USA and other countries, especially during the first half
of the last century. Unfortunately,in doing so, the bottom
rung was cut off, and in past decade or so the middle run
has now also been eroded causing much problem with genetic
variability, severely weakening our countries gene pools,
when interlaced with today's factory farming methods for
quickness, etc.
