Members of the CCD Working Group have seen and sampled CCD operations  since 
almonds, in both the west and the east.  Some were in queen/package  
operations at a critical time.  
 
We now hear of operations with bees slow to grow, poor performance -- that  
seemed to be a common symptom the year before for many of the operations  
affected by CCD last fall/winter/spring.
 
Unfortunately, CCD does not appear to have gone away.   Jerry
