First, I have no reply to claims of "trolling".
Unfortunately, "IPM" was lost in all the shrill "objections".
Can anyone claim that "threshold" are NOT a mere guess?
Keeping records, looking for trends, what's so scary?

You either have a pest/prey ratio, or you don't.
One measurement of pests alone is a meaningless number.
Use of "thresholds" mean that one is treating "at random".

Nuff said.
