I agree but use a "finishing nail" rather than a brush, the "dimple" reservoir makes a nice neat round dot.  Your preferred size nail driven into a small block of wood for a handle works well.  If you have a spare lid with a hole the size of the nail drilled in it excess paint stays in the bottle.
