This seems like the right thing to do on the surface. The main
concern is foulbrood. I got burnt [in more than one way! :)] badly
when I bought a nice, strong nuc from a local beekeeper [who has a
lot of hives and the title of master beekeeper...] with clinical
American foulbrood when I was getting into beekeeping years ago. It
taught me a lesson not to buy or except frames from anyone...
